Wasted $200 on a wireless alarm panel that kept dropping signal
Bought that new wireless panel from the big box store. Had to replace it after 3 weeks because it kept losing connection with the sensors at 50 feet. Anyone else had trouble with these consumer grade setups in larger homes?

Rough man, sounds like that panel wasnt a fan of your walls. 50 feet is nothin, my neighbor's kids can throw a baseball that far. Maybe its time to break out the tin cans and some string, at least youll have a wired connection.

Feel you man, that distance thing is weird but real. Ive had times where 30 feet was fine and then 40 feet was a total brick wall. Sometimes you just gotta accept the tech is finicky and move on. Hope you find a way to make it work, even if its just moving the router closer or something simple.

Right? It's like some invisible forcefield just kicks in at random distances. Had the exact same thing happen where I could stream 4K from my kitchen but couldn't load a webpage from my own bedroom once.
