Found out last month my sump pump was just dumping into my neighbour's yard in Red Deer
Had a guy out to look at the weird wet patch along my fence line and he traced it back to my discharge line pointing straight at the property line. Turns out it's been doing that for 3 years and my neighbour never said a word, just kept mowing around the swamp. Anyone dealt with rerouting one of these without digging up half the yard?

Man that sucks, three years of flooding his lawn and the guy just quietly dealt with it. Honestly that neighbor deserves a case of beer for being so chill about it. For the reroute, you can usually just add a few elbows and extend the pipe to a better spot without tearing up much, depends how your yard slopes though.
