Shoutout to the inspector who caught my sump pump issue

I was skeptical about paying $400 for a home inspection on this 1970s place in Calgary, but the guy found the sump pump was wired wrong and about to fail. That saved me from a flooded basement during the spring melt last May. Has anyone else had a random inspection catch something that paid for itself?
