Spent $800 on a smart thermostat and it's been a total waste

My gas bill in Edmonton barely moved after a full winter, maybe saved $10 a month. The app is glitchy and the 'learning' feature just makes the house cold when I'm home. Anyone have a dumb thermostat they actually like?

Totally feel you, my fancy one did the same thing. Went back to a basic dial thermostat and it's way better.
