TIL the drafty window in my Red Deer bungalow was just a worn out weather strip
I figured it was a broken seal and had a guy lined up to quote $600 for a full window swap last week. Turned out the strip was dry and cracked, and a $9 roll from the hardware shop on Gaetz Ave fixed the cold spot overnight. Now I'm wondering how many other "big jobs" around this house are hiding behind cheap little parts, has anyone else been fooled like that?
