Serious question, is it fair when an algorithm decides who gets a rental house?
I had to pick between two applicants for a duplex I manage. One had a perfect credit score but a sketchy rental history, the other was the opposite. I went with my gut instead of the algorithm the property management tool pushed. Has anyone else just ignored the math and gone with people skills?

Ha, I used to be a total algorithm believer but this post honestly makes me second guess that. People skills matter way more than I gave them credit for.
