Wasted $150 on a 'fair hiring' algorithm that was just a resume keyword filter
I spent $150 on this AI hiring tool that promised to remove bias and find the best candidates. Turns out it was just scanning for buzzwords like 'leadership' and 'synergy' and ranking people based on those. It completely ignored someone with 10 years of experience because they didn't use the right terms. Has anyone else tried one of these and found it was total garbage?

Did you try just being more specific with your job descriptions first?

Sage_moore37 brings up a good point, but I feel for you sanchez.mary. I've seen job ads that ask for 10 years experience in a software that's only been around for 5 years, and that Definitely discourages people. It's a fine line between being clear and being too demanding.

Nah, being too specific just scares off the good candidates before they even apply.
