Old drone footage from 2012 still has me scratching my head
I was digging through an old hard drive last week and found footage from a night shoot I did near Roswell back in 2012. My drone was glitching hard, compass going nuts, and the camera picked up this triangular shadow moving across the desert floor with no lights at all. It was way too fast to be a plane and too silent for a helicopter, and my ground spotter swore he saw nothing overhead. I checked the logs after and the drone's altimeter was jumping 20 feet randomly during that same minute, so it might've been interference messing with both systems. But I've replayed that clip a hundred times and the shadow follows the terrain too perfectly for a glitch. Has anyone else caught random artifacts like this on older gear that you still can't explain?
