That 'leaked' orb video from 3 years ago still bugs me

Last week someone reposted that old clip of the glowing orb hovering over the desert in Nevada. The one from 2022 that got a million views. Everyone in the comments is going crazy saying it's real. I remember when it first dropped, I spent a whole weekend at my buddy's place in Phoenix trying to track the metadata. The file was named something like 'final_v2_RENDER.mov'. That alone tells you it's CGI. But people just see lights and lose their minds. Has anyone here actually tried pulling the original source file? Or are we all just trusting a blurry screen grab from a TikTok repost?

Man, that file name thing is hilarious. It reminds me of when my cousin tried to convince everyone he caught Bigfoot on his trail cam, but the video was literally titled "sasquatch_final_FIXED2.mp4" and it was shot in his own backyard. Dude even had a Halloween costume receipt in the metadata if you zoomed in on the timestamp. Point is, people see what they want to see, especially when it glows or has a weird shape. I bet if you posted a video of a porch light reflecting off a raccoon's eye, half the internet would call it a drone. The real kicker is nobody ever checks the source. They just watch a compressed version that's been re-uploaded forty times and yell "debunk it" at anyone who asks for the original. You did the homework, and that's more than most of these commenters can say.

That same lazy thinking runs everything from UFOs to my buddy's "suspicious" neighbors.
