That 'leaked' UFO video from 2017 turned out to be a drone with a weird light mod, not alien tech
I was totally convinced about that old Pentagon UFO video where the object zips around and changes speed. Turns out a guy on a forum matched the exact flicker pattern to a specific brand of drone LED array from 2016. He even replicated the movement with a quadcopter in his backyard near Austin. The video was leaked like it was secret government footage, but it was just someone messing around with a camera filter. What footage or clip did you think was real until someone debunked it with solid proof?

Saw a thread where some guy debunked that whole "time-traveling homeless man" story that went viral a few years back. Turns out the photo was from a cosplay event in Portland and the timestamp was faked with a basic editor. Crazy how fast something can spread when people really want to believe it.

Always check the metadata first before sharing anything like that...

Right, the "people really want to believe it" part hits home. I remember when that whole "D.B. Cooper was just a retired airline pilot" theory blew up and my uncle spent a WEEK trying to prove it with a fuzzy photo he found on a random blog. He had this whole corkboard in his garage with string connecting everything, like a detective movie. Turns out the photo was just some guy in a sunglasses ad from the 80s.
