That weird black cube video from a farmer in Nebraska keeps bugging me

I was scrolling through old posts last night and landed on this 2019 clip of a farmer in Nebraska who filmed a black cube hovering over his cornfield for 47 seconds before it shot straight up. The metadata on the file seemed legit and there was no motion blur or heat distortion around the object, which I can't explain. Has anyone here actually looked at the original file properties or is it just another CGI job that got shared too much?

Oh man I remember that clip popping up on a few forums back then. I heard someone ran the raw video through a forensic analysis tool and found the object had actual 3D depth data behind it, not just a flat overlay. Still weird thinking about it years later, lol.

Depth data" could just be compression artifacts though.

But if the depth was real, why hasn't anyone tracked down what it actually was?
