TIL those 'alien orbs' in night sky videos are usually just drones with LED attachments

I used to watch every grainy clip of glowing spheres zipping around and think 'this is the real deal.' Then last month I filmed one myself over my backyard in Phoenix. After 3 tries I realized it was a Phantom 4 drone with aftermarket lights because I could hear the rotors faintly on the playback. Now I check audio and flight patterns before sharing anything. Has anyone else caught themselves mistaking obvious tech for something otherworldly?
