My super told me the drip under my sink was "just condensation," so I put a $4 bucket under it
Two weeks later that bucket had 3 inches of water in it and he finally sent a plumber, who found a cracked supply line that would've flooded the unit below me. Now I keep a cheap plastic tub under every sink in my place just to catch stuff early. What low cost thing do you all use to prove a landlord wrong without starting a fight?
My old place on Franklin Ave had the same thing, except it was the drain pipe in the bathroom and I used a $2 foil pan from the dollar store. Took like a week but that pan caught enough to show him it wasn't "just the humidity" and he fixed it. Cheap tubs under sinks are seriously the best peace of mind for renters.
