Sticky closet door finally fixed after 5 months of ignoring it
I kept putting off my sliding closet door in my Oakland studio because it sounded like nails on a chalkboard every morning. Turns out the bottom wheel was just caked with dust and hair, took me 10 minutes with a screwdriver and some WD-40 to pop it out and clean it. Anyone else let small apartment annoyances pile up way longer than they should?
Had the same thing with my bathroom sink drain in my last place, took me 6 months of slow draining before I finally pulled out a glob of hair and toothpaste gunk the size of a golf ball. Spent 15 minutes on it and felt like an idiot for putting up with it that long. Now I just remember that most fixes are way easier than my lazy brain makes them out to be lol.
