Vent: I wasted $85 on a tension rod shower caddy that snapped in 3 weeks
So I live in this old rental in Fresno with a weird narrow tub and no shelf space, and I thought the tension pole caddy was the answer. Dropped $85 on one of the nicer ones too, thinking the cheap ones were the problem. Mounted it right, did all the steps, felt solid. Three weeks later at like 6am the whole thing came crashing into the tub with my shampoo and my $12 face wash. Turns out the ceiling in my bathroom is slightly sloped, so the tension never held right. I should have checked with a level first, which takes 10 seconds. Now I'm using a cheap $15 over-the-door hook thing hooked on the shower curtain rod and honestly it works fine. Has anyone found a caddy that actually stays put in a sloped-ceiling bathroom? I'm scared to spend real money again.
