Found a trick for stuck dryer drum rollers last week

I was working on a Whirlpool dryer in Omaha last Tuesday and the drum rollers were seized up solid. Instead of replacing them right away, I sprayed some Kroil on the shafts and let it sit for 10 minutes. They broke free and spun smooth again, saved the customer about 60 bucks. Has anyone else tried penetrating oil on stuck rollers before pulling the part?

Buddy's neighbor tried that, car died four days later.

That's what I'm trying to figure out here, @nguyen.morgan. Did your neighbor try any fixes between those times, or just let it sit?
