Found out my own dryer vent was the reason for 3 service calls

Last month I did a routine cleaning on a customer's machine, then went home and noticed my own dryer was taking 90 minutes per load. I checked everything, the heating element, the thermistor, even the belt. Turns out my vent pipe had a bird's nest stuffed in the elbow, went maybe 8 years without ever pulling it apart. I found this out after watching a 25 minute YouTube video from a guy in Ohio who showed how to snake it with a leaf blower. Now I tell every customer to take their vent cap off once a year, has anyone else ever missed something this obvious on their own gear?

Honestly I think you're overcomplicating this. If it takes 90 minutes, that's just more time for the clothes to air out, right? Plus you got three free repairs out of it, that's basically a deal.
