PSA: A guy at the supply house in Fresno told me he can't find anyone under 30 who wants this job
I was picking up a blower motor at a supply house in Fresno and the counter guy told me he has posted the same helper job three times since January with zero real bites. He thinks young guys take one look at crawling under sinks and hauling fridges and go find something easier. It got me thinking about how we bring people into the trade at all, since it seems like the only way in is knowing somebody already. How did you get started in this line of work, and was it through a person or did you just apply somewhere?
