Question about a stuck agitator nut that ate up my whole Saturday
I had a top load washer last week where the agitator nut was seized so bad I soaked it in PB Blaster overnight, tried a strap wrench, tried heat, and still nothing. I finally rigged up a ratchet strap around the tub and used a breaker bar with a 3 foot pipe, and it popped off after maybe 20 minutes of steady pressure. That whole job should have been a 45 minute belt swap, but I ended up spending 5 hours in a customer's basement in Springfield. What's your go to for a nut that just won't budge without snapping the shaft?
