I used to think the 'lost city' stories from the Amazon were mostly made up

But a dig near Llanos de Mojos in Bolivia last year found those huge earthworks, which totally changed my mind. What's the most convincing find that flipped your view on something?

Yeah, the "totally changed my mind" part hits home. I was the same with the whole "Clovis First" idea in North America. Finding those older tools at White Sands completely rewired my brain on when people actually got here.

Man, that White Sands stuff is wild. Honestly, it makes you wonder what else we have totally wrong about history. I remember reading about some cave art in Indonesia that got re-dated and suddenly it was way older than anything in Europe. Tbh it feels like every few years something comes along and just flips the whole story.
