My trowel snapped right in the middle of a dig last Tuesday...
I was working a volunteer shift at the old mill site dig in Franklin, and I was carefully scraping away a layer of clay. I put a little pressure on the edge and the metal just gave way with a sharp crack. Had to borrow a spare from the site supervisor, which totally threw off my rhythm for the afternoon. Anyone else have a favorite tool fail at the worst possible moment?
