Asked my neighbor in Boise to watch my cat for 2 days, came home to 11 voicemails about my thermostat
I left Marcus a sticky note with the wifi password and said just feed her twice a day, nothing else. He called me at 9pm on night one because the house felt "too warm" and he was sure the thermostat was broken, then left voicemails about it every few hours. Turns out he had bumped the dial to 78 trying to find the screen brightness and could not undo it. I got home to a very happy cat and a house like an oven, so I walked him through the lock screen and we laughed about it over a beer. Does anybody else have a smart home setup that a guest has completely hijacked?
