Downtown Omaha coffee shop had no prices on the menu, just suggested donations
Stopped in at the new place on 14th Street last weekend and every drink had a sliding scale written in pencil. I asked the barista how they decide, and she said regulars pay full and first-timers get a break. Has anyone else seen this model work outside of big cities?

Saw a buddy walk into a Denver spot like that, paid $2 for a latte just cause he smiled at the cashier.
