GPS said 8 miles but the road was 14, trust the map not the app
Last month I was heading to a job site in Fresno and my phone's GPS kept saying 8 miles to the next turn. Turns out that app was routing me through a closed county road that added 6 extra miles. I only caught it because I stopped at a gas station and checked a paper map from the glove box. Does anyone else double check navigation apps against older methods when the route feels off?
