I caught a neuroscientist on the Huberman Lab podcast saying the key is pairing an active task with a passive one. So I’ll draft a report while my code compiles, but I never try to write an email and be on a call at the same time. It’s that specific combo that keeps my brain engaged without overloading it, and I actually remember what I did later.
