Just hit 500 questions answered and it hit different than I expected

I've been answering questions on here for about 3 years and hit 500 last night, mostly random tech stuff and home repair things I've messed up myself. What got me was seeing that number, because it meant 500 people actually read my rambling and at least a few probably fixed their issue from my mistakes. Has anyone else crossed a random milestone like this and felt weirdly proud or uncomfortable about it?

Look at that number and tell me it's actually about helping people. 500 answers and most of them are probably buried in some thread from 2022 that nobody will ever find again. You're not curing anything, you're just feeding a habit, like checking your own stats to feel useful. Sure, maybe three people fixed a leaky faucet from your advice, but the other 497 were just scrolling and you got a little dopamine hit when the "answered" count ticked up. That number isn't a victory, it's a timer on how much time you've spent avoiding real projects around your own house.
