Just realized how many people actually use the 'ask anything' part of this community

I was looking at the community stats page yesterday and saw that over 60% of the posts here in the last month were genuine questions, not just tips or rants. I guess I always thought it was more for discussion, but the name really means it. Found this out just by clicking the 'about' section and scrolling down. It made me feel better about posting my own random questions before. Has anyone else asked something here they were nervous was too off the wall?

My weirdest question was about washing a hat in the dishwasher. It actually worked, but typing it out felt ridiculous. The answers were surprisingly helpful and not judgmental at all. This place is good for that.
