My cousin said I should stop planning everything and just go with the flow for once

Last weekend at a BBQ in Phoenix, my cousin told me I overthink every little decision like picking a restaurant or even what time to leave for work. He said I miss out on stuff because I'm too busy checking reviews and making lists. Has anyone else had someone call them out for being too rigid and actually changed the way they approach daily stuff?

Totally get what you mean. I was dead set against my brother's take on a family thing until I actually heard him explain it, then it all clicked. It's wild how quick you can flip when you get the full story.
