The GPS rerouted me through a flooded underpass in Baton Rouge at 6am

I was showing a buyer three houses off Perkins Road and the app took us down a street with two feet of standing water, so I backed out slow, called the listing agent for an alternate route, and we made it with ten minutes to spare, but has anyone else had a GPS send them straight into trouble during a house showing?

Last year my GPS sent me down this little side street near the university that turned out to be completely blocked by a downed tree and a power line, and the phone just kept saying "recalculating" like it had no idea. I had to pull into some random church parking lot and use my own map app to get out, which took an extra twenty minutes and the buyers were already looking at their watches. The worst part was I had three more showings lined up that morning and that one detour threw the whole schedule off. I mean, I get that GPS can't know about every road closure, but at some point you'd think it'd learn something about the area. Now every time I see rain in the forecast I just open my physical map book before I even start the car.
