I blew $200 on a light pollution filter back in 2019 that did basically nothing for my Bortle 7 shots
I mean, maybe filters have gotten way better since then, but mine just made everything look green, and I've been shooting the same dim nebulas lately by just stacking way more subs and driving 40 minutes west instead, so has anyone actually found one that works from the suburbs or am I just burning money at this point?

Nope, save your cash and just keep driving west, filters still can't beat real dark skies.
