Old star trails used to take all night, now my phone does it in 20 minutes
Back in 2012 I stood in a field near Flagstaff for 6 hours stacking 30 second exposures on a laptop that kept dying. Last week I set my phone on a rock, let it run for 20 minutes, and got a cleaner result. Anyone else feel like the gear got easier but the patience got shorter?
