Serious question, did anyone else stop zooming into planets with a phone camera after getting a real telescope?
I used to just snap blurry shots of the moon through my binoculars for years until I borrowed a 6 inch Dobsonian from a neighbor last October and saw Jupiter's bands for the first time, so is it normal to feel like phone pics are completely pointless now or am I just being dramatic?

The 6 inch Dob is a game changer, I remember seeing Saturn's rings for the first time with mine and just staring for a solid 10 minutes. Phone pics are basically just proof you were there, not actual astronomy.

Totally feel you, my phone shots feel like toys now after seeing Jupiter's bands through a real scope.
