Color match nightmare on a 2019 Silverado took 8 hours, is that normal?
I spent a full day last Thursday trying to blend a pearl white on a customer's 2019 Silverado and the metallic flake just would not lay down the same no matter how I adjusted the gun or reducer. My coworker says I should have just painted the whole panel and called it done, but the customer wanted a spot repair to save money. Do you guys push for full panel paints in these cases or waste the time trying to match a factory blend?
