Debate: Should you blast or sand down old paint on a 70s Chevy?
At a classic car meet in Boise last fall I watched two old timers argue about this - one swears by sanding to keep the metal thin, the other uses a media blaster and says it's faster. I tried blasting on a 72 C10 and got warped panels in a few spots, but my buddy says it's all about pressure control. Has anyone else had luck with one method over the other on older steel?

Blast it but keep the pressure around 40 psi and you won't warp anything.
