Just hit 100 hours on my new orbital sander without a single bearing failure
I bought a cheap model six months ago expecting it to die fast, but it's held up through three full resprays. The old one I had would start screaming after about 30 hours. It's a small thing, but not having to stop a job to swap tools feels like a real win. What's the most hours you've gotten out of a budget tool that surprised you?

My old corded drill was a no-name brand from a flea market. I used it for over a decade to build two decks and a shed before the trigger finally gave out. It just would NOT quit, even after being left in the rain a few times.

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

That "left in the rain" part hits hard.

Remember those old metal lunchboxes? I swear they built tools like that back then.
