The difference in my paint jobs after I finally bought a real dehumidifier for the booth
I fought orange peel and slow dry times for years in my small shop in Spokane. Last fall, I spent $1200 on a proper booth dehumidifier instead of just using the shop's old wall unit. The first job after it was installed, a full respray on a '68 Mustang, laid down like glass and was ready to sand in half the time. Has anyone else made a change to their shop's air that gave you results this fast?

Watched a buddy fight fisheyes all summer in his garage. He finally broke down and bought a proper air dryer for his compressor, not just those little filter bowls. Next coat he sprayed was flawless, no rejects at all. Makes you wonder why we put up with the junk for so long.

Laid down like glass" is the dream, man. I had the same thing happen after I finally fixed my air lines.

I always thought those little filters were enough, but @aaron740 is right, fixing the whole system makes all the difference.
