Watched a guy at the Portland swap meet pull a dent with a heat gun and a can of air
Stopped by the Portland Expo swap meet two Saturdays ago and some older guy was fixing a dented fender right there at his table, no stud welder, just a heat gun and one of those upside down air duster cans. He heated the metal up, hit it with the cold spray, and the dent popped right out, I could not believe it. I have been using my stud welder on every little door ding since and I tried his trick on a '14 Civic fender yesterday, worked better than I expected on the shallow stuff. Any of you use this on deeper dents or does it only work when the metal is not stretched?
