Why does nobody mention a heat gun for pushing out plastic bumper dents
Had a 2016 Camry come in last week with a big old dent in the rear bumper from a parking lot hit and run, and the customer did not want to pay for a new cover. I warmed the panel with a heat gun from about 10 inches away, kept it moving so I would not blister the paint, and pushed it out from behind with a rounded wooden dowel. It popped back to maybe 90 percent and you could hardly tell from 5 feet. Took me 20 minutes total. Any of you getting better results on the creased corners, or does that spot always need filler and paint?
