So I hired this broker back in March to move my Tacoma from Phoenix up to Seattle, quoted me $950 and said pickup would be within 3 days. Day 4 comes, no call, and when I finally get someone on the phone they say the driver is 'in the area' but won't give a real window. Truck finally rolls up 6 days late, and the guy points at my passenger mirror like it was already cracked, which it wasn't, I have photos from that morning. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out if I should go after the broker or the actual carrier, since the broker keeps saying they just 'arranged' it. Has anyone actually gotten money back for damage like this, and did you file with the broker or the trucking company directly?
