My clinic started using an AI to read X-rays and the doctors seem unsure

After seeing this, I'm confused about whether AI in medicine is taking jobs or just helping out.

That line about doctors being unsure reminds me of my uncle's auto shop. They got those new diagnostic computers a few years back and the mechanics all hated them at first, said the beeps and codes were just confusing noise. Now they all use them to check their own work, but they still get the final say. Guess it's just a new tool that takes some getting used to.

What if the computer's way of showing info hides the actual problem though? Sometimes extra steps just add more places for mistakes.

Honestly that doctor uncertainty is probably a good sign, shows they're still thinking critically and not just trusting the machine.
