My new automated scheduling bot just double-booked me for three jobs
It happened yesterday morning, right after I finished a termite job in Tempe. The software is called 'ScheduleSync' and it's supposed to pull from my phone and email. I guess it saw a text from a client and a calendar invite as two separate things, so it booked me at two different houses at 2 PM. I had to call both clients and cancel one, which looked really bad. Has anyone else had their own tools basically create more work for them?

ScheduleSync probably needs a manual override for urgent changes.

Wait, it booked you for three jobs at once? I thought you said double-booked, but that's triple-booked (which is somehow way worse). How does it even do that? Did it pull from three different places, like your texts, your email, and maybe a voicemail transcript? That's a special kind of chaos right there.

Is it really that big of a deal though? So the app messed up and put three things on your calendar. Just delete two of them. My old planner used to get coffee stains that made whole days unreadable, that was way worse chaos. This is just a quick fix on a screen.

Have you tried turning off automatic calendar syncing in the settings?
