My warehouse job changed overnight with this one robot

I used to walk 10 miles a day picking orders at a big Amazon warehouse in Phoenix. Last spring they brought in these little shelf-moving robots and now I mostly just stand at a station while they bring the shelves to me. The job is way easier on my knees (I'm 38 and was starting to feel it) but I also went from making $19 an hour to $16 because they said the work is simpler now. Has anyone else had their pay cut after automation made their job less physical?

Classic bait and switch, the pay cut made it not really a win.

Yeah I read somewhere the fine print hid a bunch of fee changes too.

Those fee changes were actually in the terms update last March, not hidden in the fine print.
