Remember going to the bank for a loan? I miss that.
Back in 2015, I'd walk into my local credit union and talk to a loan officer for 20 minutes. Now it's all automated apps that deny you in 30 seconds with no explanation. Anyone else feel like the human touch in banking is gone for good?

The "20 minute conversation" being replaced by a 30 second app decision is just how everything is now.

Honestly, that's a really good point but what do you think we actually lose when the app just gives us a yes or no? Ngl, I feel like the whole process of talking it through with someone helped me sort out what I actually wanted. Now you just get a quick answer and move on, no chance to change your mind or learn anything from the conversation. Tbh, it feels like we traded connection for speed and I'm not sure we got the better deal out of it.

Yeah that hits hard. I remember that feeling of actually talking to someone who could look at your whole situation. @jana881 you're right, it's just how everything is going now. Nothing feels personal anymore.
