Bought a $60 'magic' torque wrench adapter that turned into a comedy show

So I'm working on a G1000 autopilot servo, right? The manual calls for 35 inch-pounds on this one tiny bolt buried in the back. My regular torque wrench won't fit in the space. I see this fancy angled adapter online, the ad says it's perfect for tight spots. It arrives, looks legit. I get it on the bolt, start to torque, and it makes this high-pitched 'ping' sound. The whole adapter just sheared clean in half, leaving the little square drive stuck in my wrench. The bolt wasn't even tight yet. Had to spend the next two hours fishing out the piece with a magnet and a pick. Anyone else have a tool that promised the world and delivered a disaster instead? What's your go-to for impossible torque specs in a rack?

Man, my own "magic" adapter just turned a simple job into an archaeological dig.

That "archaeological dig" feeling is the worst, I've been there with cheap adapters.

It's like a cursed treasure hunt every time.
