Heads up on home workbenches, my kid brother almost zapped a nav system

I mean, my cousin once tried to 'fix' my dad's old multimeter when we were kids. He didn't get hurt, but it scared us all half to death. Now I keep all my stuff locked up, even if it seems overkill. Idk, maybe it's just me, but you can't be too careful with that kind of thing. It's crazy how fast things can go wrong with just a little curiosity.

Yeah that was a power supply, not a nav system. Scary stuff like wendy820 said.

Power supply as nav? Curiosity's a dangerous thing.

Locking everything up feels like letting fear win though. How do you learn if you never get to poke around a little?
