Switched to heat shrink labels after a mess at PDX last month
Had a plane grounded for 3 hours at Portland International because someone's handwritten label peeled off and we misread a wire bundle. Grabbed a handheld label maker the next day and never looked back. Anyone else swear by a specific brand of tubing?

Brady's been solid for me too... I had a near-miss at DFW back in March when a sharp-edged bracket sliced a handwritten flag right off a fuel line bundle. Switched to their thermal transfer heat shrink that same week and it's held up fine even inside engine bays with oil spray and vibration. Never going back to paper tags or tape flags, they just don't survive the real world.

Agree completely, heat shrink is a lifesaver lol. I had a similar mess at JFK where a zip tie label cracked and a bundle got misidentified, cost us an extra 45 mins on the ground. Switched to Brady heat shrink labels and a handheld printer, never looked back. Those handwritten tags are just asking for trouble in a dark engine bay or wet ramp area.
