Tried a cheap coax stripper over the motorized one, no contest

I switched from a $300 motorized coax stripper to a manual two-blade unit last month in our shop near Tulsa. The motorized one kept chewing up the dielectric on RG400, and I had to re-terminate three connectors per day because of it. The manual one takes about 15 extra seconds per end but the cuts are clean every time, no more scrap. Has anyone else gone back to simpler tools for the sake of reliability?
