Vent: Wrong pinout in the manual wasted my whole shift

I was fixing a flight display that kept flickering. The service manual said to check pin 12 for voltage, but it was dead. I spent hours testing every part, thinking it was a bad board. Finally, I looked at the actual harness and saw pin 10 was the right one. The manual had a typo, and I lost a full day on a simple fix. Now I double-check everything against the aircraft wiring before I start. Stuff like this just kills morale when you're already behind.

Double-check everything" is why I never trust manuals now.

My buddy followed his grill manual exactly and still put the legs on backward. Total waste of an afternoon.

Had a friend follow GPS into a lake once. Makes you wonder who writes these things, right?
