A purchasing manager in Toledo showed me her rejection log and it killed my whole pitch deck
I was in Toledo two weeks ago pitching our software to a purchasing manager and she pulled out a spreadsheet tracking every vendor who wasted her time in Q1. 34 companies, and 29 of them opened with a generic demo before asking a single question about her workflow. She said vendors who send case studies from our exact industry get a callback, everyone else goes in the bin. I went home and threw out my whole slide deck that night. Now I open every call with 'what's broken right now' and book way more second meetings. Anyone else had a buyer lay it out that brutally?

Man, that rejection log should be required reading for every sales team, because buyers are basically handing over the cheat code for free.
