Can we talk about that Salesforce migration that bombed on us last October

My company switched CRM platforms back in October. The vendor promised a smooth 48 hour transition. It took 6 days and we lost 3 days of lead data in the process. I ended up rebuilding our contact lists from old email backups. Has anyone else had a major software rollout go this wrong without any warning?

Cried in my car? I would have set the car on fire if that happened to me. Three days of lead data gone is basically putting money in a paper shredder and hoping it comes back. I don't know what these software companies think a "smooth transition" means but it sure isn't the same thing the rest of us think. Somebody owes you a steak dinner or maybe a whole cow after that mess.

Oh man, a 3 day data loss is a nightmare I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
